In 2006, EPCON became the North American distributor of the Dortmund Data Bank and began a cooperative co-development project with DDBST for the 5^th Edition of the GPA Data Bank. EPCON also began bundling of DDB in all licensing of their process simulation software, SYSTEM 7 Process Explorer®, to provide a complete and comprehensive process engineering solution.

For over 30 years, DDB has been the source of high-quality VLE, LLE, and SLE equilibrium data vital to the process industries. Ongoing cooperation between EPCON and DDBST is continuing in the development of a thermophysical property data bank for the emerging bio-fuels industry.
